It's a dilemma for the lefties and no mistake. Egypt have blocked the border with Palestine, which is 'occupied' by Hamas, who are using the Palestinians as human shields, with Israel poised to step in to try to remove the oppressors. There's speculation that Hamas are supported by some elements of the Arab world that opposed the Saudi approach of working more closely with Israel. It's as if these people don't want peace with the west and have stated aims of seeing the total destruction of western values, yet we're told the diversity will enrich us.
Given a fair percentage of the bombs and deaths they've suffered are from Hamas or at least related type groups, they're stuck between a rock and a hard place. Maybe they should look to Ukraine as an example of what can be done if the civilians get together against oppressors. If they sorted Hamas and Islamic Jihad it would reduce the attacks on Israel who would have no excuse for reprisals.

You do realise that Hamas is a Palestinian movement? The occupied part of Palestine is the West Bank ... You seem to be a bit confused ...
They are more of a Sunni Islamic movement than Palestinian, hence it's only on the Gaza strip rather than the west bank. They care more about killing what they see as their enemies than they do about the Palestinian people, hence them stealing medical and other relief supplies and appropriating aid for their benefit rather than that of the Palestinians. I hope that clears up what appears to be some of your confusion, and you can move on to having a conversation rather than some meaningless pissing contest.
