I wasn't suggesting that @libdumbs were uniquely responsible....just in this particular by-election. Both Labour and Libs have failed to put petty Party politics to one side for the greater good. The failure to support PR is one of the formers biggest ****ups. In this case though, polling suggests Lab to be 10+ points ahead of Libs and only 8-10 behind Tories. The Greens are on 4-5, so they too could influence the outcome - but only if the Libs play ball. I will stand corrected if the current polling turns out to be misplaced....
