Back to the proper stuff this weekend Hopefully Rotherham can nick a result against Ipswich on Friday night…
I keep waiting for Ipswich to slip up but its nearly Nov now and still no sign. We played them off the park aswell.
I don’t think we deserved to lose that day but Ipswich were very well organised and defended well. Good side who’re clearly well coached. I think they’ll finish above us.
I don't mate they have players like Luongo who was loaned to Boro last year who is a key player for them but never got a sniff of game time. I think their Honeymoon period in this league is an extended one, and these international breaks are doing them a favour resting players. Lets see how their squad copes when injuries and 3 games a week kick in.
Reading started very well but went down. Ipswich are a lot better than Reading were. I’d be surprised if they didn’t finish top 6.
Alot of people are saying that also mate, so i hope its proved wrong. They came into this season with big confidence from League1 last year, clearly have a top manager and are loving life right now. I hope they can get a wake up call soon, because their squad is nowt flash really tbf. If we knew how to put chances away we'd have battered them. We need to find a striker from the mix that can score asap before we slip away. Burstow is not the answer for me right now.
Looking forward to the Chelsea Arsenal game as at a wedding on the afternoon (so missing going to the pub to watch the lads ).
Should be a cracking game. Chelsea have made improvements in their last couple of games but Arsenal will fancy their chances and a win would see them go top of the league - Spurs play Monday night.
Ryan Andrews, Watford who was sent off against us has had a one match ban for misconduct after his reaction to his sending off. I'm assuming that's on top of the 3 game ban he should have got for a straight red, although the article in the BBC Website doesn't clarify that. Tool.
This time, last year (after 11 games) Reading were 3rd, QPR were 5th and Coventry were bottom. A lot can happen in the next 35 matches
