I doubt they understand it themselves mate and I'm being serious. It's a series of infantile acts perpetrated by powerful flawed men. Did Hitler really need more living space for Germany, would Putin be invading Ukraine if he had a hobby, does Iran not have decent telly. The whole world would be better and simpler if everyone got along ... ... but they all want to act the big shot and show everyone how clever they are.
These fanatics are thankfully rare. I'd guess they're mentally ill individuals who latch onto a cause that gives them some self worth. What they do is absolutely pointless in the grand scheme of things ... ... they accomplish nothing, usually end in death for them and the acts quickly forgotten.
They've bombed a school, too. They're committing war crimes and an arrest warrant should be issued for Netanyahu, like one has been issued for Vladimir Putin. They're friends with the US and its allies, so no chance of that happening.
Israel had the sympathy of much of the world but are systematically destroying it ... ... it's as if they were waiting for a reason to destroy Gaza. The horrific actions of Hamas deserved a reaction but this isn't the way to react to a bunch of terrorists, this is medieval on innocent people. Other neigbouring nations won't turn a blind eye and, to be honest, how can we expect them to. The UK didn't whistle in the wind and ignore Russia trying to crush Ukraine.
The official line from Israel is that this was a Hamas rocket that fell short. Truth will out. Hopefully. It does seem bizarre that Israel would do something that stupid. Biden’s going to have an interesting discussion.
A single rocket doesn't kill 500 people. That would suggest a stray missile or concentrated bombing. Israel can hardly say sorry though. They'll just shrug their shoulders and say it wouldn't have happened if Hamas hadn't attacked them.
