Sorry wasn't clear. I meant they'd be targeted by Hamas rather than other nations. I'm sure they'll be kept away but it's a small country and taking out a US soldier would be a huge win for them. What I meant by otter countries being pissed is just by the presence of them there given the recent history.
Feels like calm before the storm doesn't it. Everyone waiting for the inevitable ground operation that will surely kill a lot of people. The issue that most seem to be focusing on is what happens to Gaza after this attack, temporary full Israeli control, settlers? Who knows.
But it's not OK ... and that's the whole point ... (although Ukraine likely has more ethnic Russians living in it than Israel has US nationals)... but still not OK ... now if NATO put in a peacekeeping force of mixed nationality fair enough ... but you've got to be a bit dim to think a US peacekeeping force would have much neutrality on the back of their government's "... we stand fast with Israel" rhetoric... that's just going to throw more fuel on the fire of what is now a very worrying powder keg...
People in the UK are ****ing weirdos lol. Their neutrality is of no consequence, they're there because the idea of attacking a location with US soldiers in it makes enemy forces nervous. That is the objective of a peacekeeping force. Having say, a bunch of Malaysian UN peacekeepers on the border would be about as useful as a fart in a hurricane. Peacekeepers from a nation able to rain hellfire upon anyone on earth has a bit more of a sting in it's tail. The fuel on the fire rhetoric is nonsense, apparently everyone on here is witnessing before their eyes ethnic cleansing. That's what the new party line is, they're being ethnically cleansed. What more can be done to instigate a response from the surrounding nations, there's a ****ing US aircraft carrier on the border, but 1000 soldiers guarding an area is where Hezbollah draws the line lol. I think people need to stop the theatrics and just look at the situation as it is, they are desperate to bomb the living **** outta one another out there, they have been for years. We have seen Yemen, Syria and now Gaza destroyed in this undeniable lust these guys have for killing one another. We all know this was caused because Saudi Arabia were trading in their Muslim credit for Western inclusion, accepting Israel was part of the plan and Iran **** themselves. Now 6000 people are dead and we say, US soldiers will kick this off further and it's wrong. Send in Thai peacekeepers then lol or send in nothing and watch the news.
