I've not once denied that Israel are not reacting to what Hamas did, my ONLY point was you were making excuses for Hamas from the very off of the massacre that they carried out in Israel. I'm not interested in your cold facts, which is a desperate attempt to deflect what I'm chatting about and that is that you took an anti israel position from the very beginning. Clearly though you are not honerable enough to admit you are wrong, you were wrong, but Fosse will be Fosse because he has no integrity. Either that or your paranoid bipolar is worse than mine, and everyone to you is an enemy when it comes to those cold hard facts you seem so risilient on...you are and were anti Israel from the very beginning.
Only one positive outcome in all this and I'm sure everyone will agree regardless of who you think is wrong or right This thread has become a contender for 'thread of the year' in end of season awards init Needs ramping up slightly more for it to become hot favourite though
Agree Needs a few final warnings and maybe a 24 hour ban minimum to kick start things tbh Name calling has been weak as well The potential is there though
So 1,400 Palestinian women and children were all hiding weapons under their beds this week - so missiles blowing them to smithereens are more than justified? I've condemned what Hamas did several times, SAF ... it's inexcusable and will have diluted sympathy for the Palestinian peoples plight amongst those that understand the history and lived through events such as the 6 day war ... but I can't accept Israel slaughtering innocent women and kids with their missiles either, nor turn a blind eye to the part that Israel's continued occupation and establishing of settlements in Palestinian territory plays in the ongoing conflict between Palestinians and Israel... Israel has no right in International Law to occupy or settle those territories ... and the recent shutting off of power, food and water to an entire nation is a designated war crime ... no two ways about it.
Then your ONLY point is wrong - I have not sought to defend or excuse what Hamas did - I have roundly condemned it - more than once. ... and I'm not 'anti-Israel' per se... Indeed I would go as far as to say I would have been quite sympathetic to the establishment of modern Israel (a homeland for Jewish people) had I been alive in 1948. I'm not anti-Israel, even now - provided they exit the areas of land that they are currently occupying and controlling in flagrant disregard of International Law - there can't be one rule for certain invaders and another for others - look at the West's reaction to Iraqi invasion of Kuwait - look at the reaction to Russian aggression and occupation of territory in Ukraine. I've maintained that Israel has every right to defend itself - that 'self' should be the territory of Israel originally established in 1948 and ratified by the Oslo accord - no more and no less. Ethnic cleansing of 3 million Gaza Palestinians is not defence of Israel.
If you ever have a point please illuminate us all with it ... ... or alternatively find one post where I condone or excuse the actions of Hamas ... Let's make it simpler than that .. answer one simple question. Do you think that the illegal occupation and settlement of Palestinian lands by Israel had absolutely no relevance in what happened on October the 7th? If you do think it did - then you share my view on it. That does not mean you condone or excuse it - indeed you may also have found it as abhorrent and inexcusable as I did - and as I've maintained since. Difference is, whilst I've also condemned the slaughter of 1,400 Palestinian women and kids by the Israeli military, you've just made excuses for it... perhaps you think it's justified?
