In 2019 we qualified with six wins, I think. So five wins out of the next six might be enough. Probably need to win them all, though. We look poor.
We aren't the same side without Morgan's leadership, Stokes' quality of getting us over the line in games, Roy's power at the top, Archer's fear factor and Plunkett's ability to take Wickets in the middle overs ! Apart from that we're not bad
Aussies might actually get a win today. The league stage of this tournament which started on 5 October doesn’t finish until 12 November, and the final isn’t until the 19th. Why can’t they play more than one game a day? I’m pretty sure a cricketer doesn’t need quite as much recovery time as the rugby players at their World Cup….
Hurrah. A win. Didn't see it but always happy to see the green and gold getting a win. At least there's plenty of time to play yourself into form in this tournament.
