You really should go back to page 200, what was lacking was any condemnation of the barbaric act carried out on Israel, most on here were making excuses for it or just accepting it like it was ok. Whether people feel Israel's response as disproportiaonate since, can be argued for sure, the only reason I got involved in this topic, because the thread was coming across as death to Israel, Pinkie at the forefront flying the I hate Israel flag.

Yes, you did. You quickly skimmed over it saying Hamas committed a terrible atrocity, then it was straight back to, but Israel... We are talking about the here and now, not what has happened beforehand. Another question, why you are ONLY blaming Israel for what's happening in Gaza but not saying a single word about why Israel bomb the **** out of the place? You have never mentioned that Hamas use civilian property to store their arms. You never mentioned that Israel keep responding to their territory being attacked with rockets from Gaza. That would give a more balanced view to what is happening over there instead of leading everyone down the road of Palestine good and Israel bad. I'm not sure how anybody can expect the Israelis to act differently, atm. If rockets were coming to the UK landing near own family homes and schools. We would want the RAF to find out where they're coming from and turn the place and everything around it to dust. That's what Israel is doing to Gaza. Would Israel have taken so much land and built settlements if they weren't constantly provoked and attacked with rockets? I highly doubt it. All I want in all of this is for our government to keep our noses out for once. Neither Israel or Palestine is a threat to our nations safety and stability. Let them sort it out themselves for once instead of thinking we know best and then whatever happens, happens.
Just because you say something is the truth don't make it so, it's subjective. You will agree with anything that agrees with your only ideology. I don't watch half the videos and twitter stuff on here, because most of it gets dragged from the gutter and I do wonder sometimes how much of it is actually illegal. I've never pretended to know anything about the area, but nor do you and nor do the majority of people on here, it just happens to be international week so they are all fooking bored. Yup you are right to point that out, because in response to your post on that page, I said I agreed with your first sentence, and when I look back now, I don't, and mainly because I've relooked at your actual wording which said 'but these actions are a 'reaction'' - which confirms what I said all along, that people were making excuses for the savagery that happened in Israel from the very off, including you.
Well the 'here and now' has 1,400 Israeli dead versus 2,700 in Gaza (more than 50% of which are women and children - I can't be less concerned for those innocents than I am for Israeli civilians - and any argument that Hamas is responsible for those Palestinian deaths by what it has done is just wrong - it would mean that the recent Israeli civilians deaths can be legitimately attributed to 15 years of Israeli missiles being fired into Gaza - both arguments / rationales are complete bollocks - the death toll is due solely down to those firing the missiles or pulling the triggers - nobody else). The Israeli land grab is illegal - no different to Russia's in Ukraine - it can't be justified as a defensive measure - it is aggressive opportunism aimed at expanding Israel's border and contrary to International Law - as for the UK? - we can't stay out of this whilst we are part of the UN and NATO ... it would just be refreshing if we would actually show some backbone and be consistent with our 'principles' .

Please find one instance (and quote it) where I've 'excused' the actions of Hamas on 7th October - I didn't ... I simply pointed out the historic background to such savagery ... and the West's repeated failures to react to breaches of International Law.
