France game is a different level to anything England can offer, we will get mullered facing these

 

I wouldn’t fancy us against South Africa either. Especially if De Clerk is fit.

 

I wouldn't fancy our chances either but it would be a different game, Eng wouldn't try and compete in the open rugby stakes, they'd try and make it a much more attritional game imo.
But there again what do I know...

 

Once again England go further than the rest of the Home Nations and Ireland.

That’s with the worst English team in ages and the best Irish and Scottish teams in generations.

Don’t give me the lop sided draw bollocks either. In the last WC we beat Australia, when they were a top 4 side, and NZ to get to the final.

You know as much as anyone else on here I would imagine. I agree with your thoughts on it being a different sort of game. Certainly would not be as good to watch as tonight’s game. But if England win who cares?

 

It is amazing to think that this is the third time Argentina have reached the World Cup semi finals and Ireland never have.

Difference in standard between the 2 evening quarters and the afternoon Kos is stark. Another incredible match between France and SA here
