£80 million on the number of players bought is peanuts compared to the big boys. You have to get the recruitment right aka Brighton and Brentford in terms of quality, we didn’t get enough right.

Exactly right and what Kinnear said in the recent interview about the standard of player they brought in. Bought a raft of players without a minutes pl experience between them. Clueless stuff and many said it at the time. Incidentally I wonder how much were still paying Marsch. Interesting he’s in no hurry to get another job

Yep turned two down as it was only till the end of the season but would have ended our payments to him. Guessing he’s not as confident in his abilities as he pretends he is.

Either that or he’s enjoying an extended holiday at our expense. Likely 20 or 30 k a week

Yes we spent over £80m ON PAPER and would have been close to £100m if we stayed up as would be spending a lot more on McKennie.

However we spent zero in reality because Phillips and Raphinha money more than covered it. So zero net spend!!

And the rest. Marsch’s salary is reportedly £3.5m a year so approximately £75k per week.

Leeds will continue to pay him till 2025.

Not sure how many Phases Ireland went through at the end to keep the ball in play and try and get that try they needed. Heroic and plenty of bottle, well done Ireland your English coach

Apologies for being a bit ignorant but is rugby the same as football so, if the other team get more points do they win?

I know with Jan’s showjumping points are bad so just not sure how it works with rugger?

I think more points win, phases do not equal points, a bit like footie xg will not win you a game.

Don't think winning friendlies counts for much either, because Ireland won all their friendlies, but lost just one real game and they are off home.
