Radio Humberside Contract

The Controller of Radio 2 is a lady called Helen Thomas who hails from sunny Hull (ex Wolfreton school). She is the culprit responsible for the stations many changes over the last 3 years.

I think Radio 2 is just doing what it’s always done - reinventing itself for listeners now too old for Radio 1. My generation grew up with Scott Mills, Sara Cox, Jo Whiley, Zoe Ball etc etc on the radio, as the previous one did with Steve Wright and Gary Davies etc.

Im too old for Radio 1 now but listen to Radio 2 more than ever.

Problem is, where do the people who are now too old for Radio 2 go?

Radio two is ****e now, try virgin in a morning (Chris Evans) or absolute radio, lots of different decades, prefer 80's myself .

I honestly don’t mind him… as you’ve typed FACT I may have to reassess the situation.

 

I quiet like Tarbuck on a Satdee but if I accidently catch a few seconds of Rylan prior, it ruins the evening.

 

I listen to Ken Bruce and Simon Mayo on Greatest Hits radio it's almost like the old radio 2

 

It’s all down to personal preference, Zoe Ball’s the reason I £@@ked R2 off.
