6-12 weeks out that. #inbiscanwetrustwould rival fans coming on here gloating about injuries - didn't we have enough of that over Virgil? That's not banter, that's just gutter-trolling. Get him off here - you get banned off the Prem for less.
Never wish for or celebrate the injury of player. I've pulled done of our own up for it on here previously when opposition players got injured too.
FA being criticised for not lighting up the arch on Wembley to show support for Israel. Such a complicated thing and by no means educated in it enough to know really what’s going on other than a load of politicians playing with ordinary peoples lives as is worth any way. But not sure Wembley arch being lit up is going to make a whole load of difference to anyone involved. Can’t imagine a kid out there is gonna not see it and feel more upset…
Amazing how often politicians say "keep politics out of sport" until it is a cause they want to be seen supporting .
The Gambia have been handed the "group of death" at next year's Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon), manager Tom Saintfiet has said. Africa's smallest mainland country found themselves pitted against holders Senegal in Thursday's draw for the tournament in Ivory Coast. Five-time champions Cameroon and Guinea also feature in Group C. All four teams advanced from the group stage at the delayed Afcon 2021, with The Gambia reaching the quarter-finals. "We are the clear underdog. I used that a lot in the last Afcon that we are small and they are big," Saintfiet told BBC Sport Africa. "It suited us but this group is much more difficult this time - we have the group of death. "We face the current African champions, the semi-finalists of the last Afcon in Cameroon, and Guinea, who reached the knockout round last time." After decades of strife you'd think they'd have reached some compromise by now. Hamas' declared aim is to eradicate the state of Israel, but does anyone believe that's achievable? Did they secure the backing of the people of Gaza before they set out on an endeavour that can only end up in Israel shelling the **** out of those poor people? What good can come from it? The vast majority of people on all sides just want to be left to live their lives in peace but there are always a handful of belligerent megalomaniacs trying to force their agenda onto everyone.
Man City v Liverpool on sky on 25th november Immediately after the international break Have a guess what time… yup another 12:30 kick off to go with the 12:30 kick off next week after the international break and the 12:30 kick off away to wolves after the last international break.
14 times in 8 years lfc have played at 12:30 sat after international break next on list is spurs with 6. Feel like they just do it for the laughs and to annoy klopp now
or the far east really really wants that slot. but the most important thing is there used to be a rule about Monday nights that they all had to share the pain equally. no club should have more than 2 of those per season. (and max 1 after internationals)
Just read that it's Manchester police that have requested the switch voicing concerns with crowd control in the evening kickoff as it was originally intended. Not sure why though; Man Utd okay at 8pm the same day but they're away to Sheff Utd. Is there a concert or other sporting event happening?
https://www.live-footballontv.com/live-english-football-on-tv.html Can't see the Man City v Liverpool game yet, too early
Just seen it’s because of crowd trouble betwene city and lfc games in past. Don’t want it late so people can get drunk so putting it on early to only allow small drinking time. Not sure that really helps as people start early and then just drink in town centre more afterwards but hey ho
The issue is because of it being lit up for other terrorist attacks previously in Paris etc but they won’t light it up for Israel for fear of offending local communities. Gutless
