Can't just look at this in a microcosm to try and understand it though. When Kuwait was invaded by Iraq there were stories about babies being dragged out of incubators and left to die on the floor. After the war this was proved to be a lie. It would be outrageous if these stories turn out to be bollocks. It would suggest the slaughter of party goers was not bad enough. The only things I think are: 1. Targeting civilians ain't OK. 2. A solution needs to be found if there is to be a lasting peace...and to do that Israel will need to talk to Hamas ... just like the British government spoke to the ira. Hamas can not beat the Israeli army and the Israeli army will not beat Hamas. The troubles in Ireland show this 3. People should stop referring to the Israeli government as "the Jews"...they don't refer to America as "the Christians " 4. People need to stop holding Muslims and Jewish people here responsible for the atrocities that have been committed there. The Israeli Government and Hamas are responsible for their actions not individuals thousands of miles away. 5. Tens if not hundreds of thousands will die while politicians and those who are safe from danger (on both sides of the argument)decide what abuses to justify and excuse. ****ing grim all round tbh

He was asked a simple question by a reporter about how Israel would protect Palstinian civilians in Gaza, and why they have turned the power off, which affects hospital life support machines for young kids. Naftali Bennett just totally blew his stack at the reporter and kept referring to Hamas as Nazi's. At the beginning of the interview he held up a picture of a family that had been completely wiped out by Hamas.
