Apparently it is necessary to totally obliterate buildings including universities, schools, doctor's surgeries and hospitals because Hamas are hiding in tunnels beneath them ... the PR machine is in full swing ... meanwhile, surprise, surprise, the numbers of Palestinian civilians killed has now surpassed the number of Israelis killed by the terrorists ... ****ing disgusting ... they are turning Gaza City into another Hiroshima, just without the nukes ...
This is why I've likened it to Ethinic cleansing. It's not a military operation to take out an armed militia, it's a calculated demolition of the lives, livelihoods, homes, schools, hospitals, mosques... coupled with a barbaric withdrawal of food, medicine, water and essential supplies to stay alive All the while, not allowing Gazans any safe route in or out. It's not dismantling an army, it is simply trying to eradicate these people and their way of life. I'd like to know if anybody else has a definition for this other than what I've just outlined ?
Israeli spokesman Jonathan Conricus saying that Hamas did behead babies - been confirmed by a coroner ... although his comments are a bit bemusing ... "I admit it took us some time to really understand and to verify that report ... I think we can now say, with relative confidence, that this is what Hamas did ..." Now I'm no expert ... but I suspect bodies without heads would have been enough for me to have been able to confirm it pretty quickly...
I keep seeing people stating the EU have cut off aid to Palestinians but this isn't fully correct as human could have been blown off in an explosion .
The details are horrific, but any innocent death is a tragedy. I can’t help thinking that the near constant media concentration on the nature of these attacks and the way in which people were killed, is acting as a smokescreen whilst Gaza is flattened and people blown to bits and crushed to death in their thousands
umm while i appreciate where you are coming from it is hardly like the UK media is ignoring the situation in Gaza since i've seen live pictures of buildings being demolished in air strikes as a Beeb reporter was speaking to camera.
Who created hamas…..say no more https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2014/07/30/how-israel-helped-create-hamas/
Yep I’m not saying it’s being ignored. It’s just the level of the details of how and where people were killed, which I appreciate was horrific, seems to be the constant theme. To me it seems that it’s being used as constant reminder, to try and justify Israels actions as it carries out its own equally brutal and barbaric action upon the people of Gaza
The stated aims of Hamas aren't for peace and the liberation of Gaza and the West Bank, they're for the complete destruction of Israel and the eradication of Jews in the region. Is that not genocide? All because of the massive plot hole that starts the Koran.
Yes it is ... but Hamas do not represent all Palestinians... indeed they don't represent the majority of Palestinians in the region, if you combine the populations of Gaza and the West Bank ... and realistically, only one combatant in this conflict has the military capability (and backing) for genocide / ethnic cleansing ... as is becoming more obvious with every day that goes by ...
