I'm hoping Guardiola leaves City in a couple of years or whatever, by which time we will have strengthened further, the timing could be perfect for us to start challenging for the league title. Klopp will have gone aswell.
All it can take is one bad manager choice to leave City without a few titles for a couple years. Their last couple titles bar this past season have been marginal victories. They're desperate to keep Pep for a reason
Oh don’t get me wrong. He’s probably the worlds best. He can manage elite players and never has issues. He’s had it on a plate mind. But he still has to do the job.
Man U, constantly crap yet beat so many 'little' teams who just don't seem to turn up or do something stupid to lose by the odd goal. I watched the goals from McTominay - look at the second; as the cross is floated, the Brentford defender just doesn't backpeddle or read the flight of the ball (which is lofty, floaty and easy to read) allowing the player behind him to head it. Additionally, there's a Brentford defender sitting too deep because McTominay should be so easy to play offside from that header. Finally, the goalkeeping effort is questionable. I dunno - watched the same thing a few times with them. Last season Fulham lost by a goal, missed a couple of easy chances and just didn't seem to put what I'd call 100% in. It's always the little teams. Bigger ones seem to have no problem beating them consistently! Seems a bit suspect to me.
I actually really like Pep, always comes across as a hell of a lot classier than Arteta and Klopp (I actually physically hate both of them ****s now btw) which granted is not that difficult. If you watch this clip to then for his presser you’ll see what I mean. One example of course I know but he sees the funny side of things. I was a bit gutted when Tommy Tickles left Chelsea, much more entertaining when you have managers like that around I think. https://www.skysports.com/watch/vid...onfronts-arsenal-set-piece-coach-at-full-time
Asked AI to generate an Image of @Hung Drawn and Quartered on a match day, and got this back. Uncanny.
