Off Topic WW3 How Close?

Utterly deplorable scenes and stories coming from the area. This could escalate very quickly, especially when innocent children are slaughtered.

They are doing it to provoke a reaction all in the name of religious hatred.

 

All the time losing sympathy in the wider world for the way they've been treated in the past.

This might be the tipping point. The Israelis can clear (or flatten) the entire strip whenever they want and it's only international disapproval holding them back.

 

How long will it be before the conspiracy theorists start that it’s the Israelis that are really killing their civilians that have been found, just so they can get international approval to flatten the whole of Gaza?

The Palestinian-Israeli conflict has been alive all of my life. In that time, some of the greatest politicians, journalists and philosophers who've ever lived have tried and failed to resolve it.

The worry now is that with arguably the least capable, intellectual, and most corrupt global political class ever, along with client journalism now being the norm instead of the outlier, millions of people living in abject misery daily are neither served by their political leaders or the self ordained global policemen, east and west.

If you're a politician, no wonder people are apathetic at best and shaking with anger at worst.

On your watch, all of you, left, right, centre, the least capable bunch at the greatest time of need.

Perhaps “ Peace Envoy” Tony Blair will have another crack at sorting it out .

 

Or... Jeremy Corbyn always calls for a peaceful resolution which is the human thing to do and look at how he is treated by the press.

 

A peace envoy who has unequivocally chosen a side and whose previous job left an antisemitic stink that will never fully go away always gets the job done.

I thought Jeremy Corbyn was tarnished by the press for always looking for a peaceful resolution?

 

I think it was because when he asked for them he was usually stood in front of men wearing black balaclavas and carrying ak47’s, so maybe the press didn’t quite trust him.

No idea mate, it was in all the newspapers before the last election and before that as well I think. I know there were some fake ones out at the time as well though but I wouldn’t of thought all the newspapers would show them, on the other hand though
