I think they should just scrap the preference of tickets in the ballot,if you're lucky enough to get picked then they should offer you a ticket/choice and if you don't want that ticket or it's too expensive well then hard luck, there's plenty that would take anything.
As far as I'm concerned, you should just be able to set your maximum exposure and be drawn for any ticket up to that amount, rather than locking yourself, inadvertently, out of certain options by going for what is considered to be the "best chance".
About 45 seconds... FWIW - looks like my little lass can't come to the Palace game as I didn't realise she was already at a birthday party, so if you can pass for an under 14 year old girl, there might be an opportunity to attend the match there...
Just spent an hour on the phone the box office to see if I could upgrade her ticket to an adult one, and nada. All I can do is resell.
Yeah similar to what I said,I'll only go a few times a year so don't mind what price ticket I'm lucky to get but different for local fans who might want to go every couple of weeks and have a wife/husband and a couple of kids, could get pricey then.
Yup, resell it... can't pass it on. I just get my money back and ANOTHER junior ticket goes into the pot.
Well, I'll soon see if anyone sits next to me won't I? I reckon it'll go on general sale - what I'm saying is, I don't have control over what it gets resold as - it's just resold as far as my option to do anything with it is. I can't reallocate it to an adult.
Gone be the days when you could use a schoolboy's paper ticket, those days are gone with those phones!
