Horrible tackle from Kovacic. Studs up into the back of Odegard ankle. Lucky not to be sent off. How they reviewed the Jones one and turned that into a red but not this no idea. Was a much worse twckle

Kovacic is a nasty piece of work, like Rodri but not as good at hiding it

Watching Man City and arsenal slowly pass the ball around in front of each other for 82 minutes while neither create any kind of chance of a goal really does make me appreciate klopp a lot more.

Yes city can destroy teams, but my god half the time their football is dull to watch. Give me unpredictability and end to end excitement over this tactical bollocks all day

City are capable of winning the next ten games, I am not sure Arsenal can do the same.

Keeps things interesting at the top.

4 points separating the top 6.

We are 3 points off top spot having played 3 tough away games vs top 4 rivals. 5 away games and only 3 home games and now have back to back home games against 2 bottom half teams.

Season is already looking far better than last year tbh. City don’t look unbeatable and without kdb creating numerous chances Haaland showing that he’s not on the levels of messi and Ronaldo yet. The guys a finisher but needs chsnces to finish as won’t create himself. Don’t give him space to run into and stop the supply and suddenly city don’t look threatening.

we've gone past the hardest period now for a little bit.

it's now time to get the head down amd win a lot of games. right up to the city one.

all wolves did to haaland btw was stick Dawson on him. think on that. Dawson.

stick close and he's out of the game

yeah, playing a kid he barely knows and calling him the greatest he ever worked with.

including ahem busquets, messi etc al.

he'd rather play the kid than Phillips who he ball.licked in leavue Cup and lost lol.

    serious question regarding "player welfare"

aka big clubs whinging about internationals which taking more.and more games in europe etc

would anyone support an expanded squad size in the prem and Europe to say 30 or 35 players?

I would not for the record.

imagine what Chelsea could so when 60 players is OK

No. The size of squads isn’t the issue. If anything it massively disadvantages the smaller clubs and weakens the overall quality of the football.

Get rid of league cup. Don’t need 2 domestic cups which are essentially a duplicate. Get rid of community shield as not needed.

Get rid of stupid near CL format to get it back to 6 group games and remove 3rd place teams dropping into Europa league to remove an unnecessary round there.

some would say the opposite. play less Europe and keep the domestic side.

    it's all money isn't it?

Friday at 5:30pm for games next.

    Sunday at 7:30 or 8pm.

    mo day at 5:30m

I wouldn't support an expanded squad. I think it's the extra international competitions that are the problem combined with friendlies and qualifiers. I don't even know what some of the competitions are called and all just money spinners. The new added time in league games isn't helping either, as much as 15 minutes when legs and bodies are tired.

As far as the domestic cups go, I think people are fondly tied to them and with their historic nature, I can see why although while it might be an opportunity for smaller clubs to make a bit of extra cash, it's the same 2 or 3 teams who are winning them.

I'd get rid of the internationals first.
I know it won't happen, but I'd have perhaps one training camp for internationals mid-season, then just give them 2 or 3 weeks before each tournament to get together and sort themselves out. The managers can watch as many games as they like during the season and anyone worth their pay packet should be able to decide who he wants.
I know it's a national pride thing to some, but frankly I couldn't possibly care less.
