I don't think we would have sacked GA in this break normally but seeing the Eustace news I do wonder if we had a DoF in place would they have jumped at the opportunity to try and get him in? I dont see there being anyone with the nous to make that decision though, Amit's off playing golf and no one else gives a **** so I'm sure GA is safe. Would a sensible chap like Eustace want to come back to this ****ing insanity anyway?
I am presuming Eustace is still mates with Warbs and kept an eye on our affairs through his tenure. He'll get a decent pay our from Brum. His career is still definately intact. The reason we've got an Ainsworth is because only an Ainsworth would come here. In the words of Grandad "He may be mad but he'd have to be bloody stupid to come here".
Eustaces best mate lives 2 doors down from me. Will see if there's any inside info going, if not, I will just make something up.
My mate text me this ... He's a Chelsea supporter ... Works at the training ground ... ' It's a shame, such a nice bloke. Full of personality, makes all the players say hello to you and brings life into the place . Some of your players don't look up for training let alone a game on most days.
If that's about Ainsworth then yes, it is a shame. It's also a huge shame that he appears to be completely lacking as any kind of football coach.
Some people will cling on to the fact that he played for us and should be given time. Others see him as a pretty crap manager at best. He really is going to take us down, there's no two ways about that.
He won’t be here by the end of the season, but when he goes it will probably be too late, unless the increasingly unbelievable scenario of ‘3 worse teams’ transpires.
