If Tufan is back, this isn't a disaster. But if he's still out after the break then our forward options start to look very light indeed.

Did we let oscar go to get him off the wage bill?
Are metz paying all his wages

Becasue why else would a club send a 15 goal championship poacher on loan
And leave themselves with just two out and out forwards?

Not sure how plt can defend this

    Forgetting even injuries
    Its just another option
Hes a poacher inside the box, something we lack
    Option off the bench

Aaron Connolly has 'a minor toe injury', hopefully more minor than the last one.

Jesus, let's hope he isn't out for as long as his last minor toe injury.

Out and out strikers clearly aren't a big concern in this squad. Almost every game this season we've played a front two where one or both of them isn't an out and out striker. So why get upset about not being able to field two out and out strikers since we basically never do that anyway? We're not going to be relying on academy kids. Even if Connolly misses games, it'll be a combination of Traore, Twine and Delap up there, hopefully Tufan too. It'd be nice to have Connolly too, not denying he's a loss, but the idea we're left with nothing is nonsense.

Possibly why we miss so many chances.

Maybe, but it's been Connolly missing the chances as much as anyone else, and if for example we'd kept Oscar and played him to finish more chances, he'd have to take someone's place, so a Philogene, Delap or Traore type would have to be dropped, which is going to have adverse effects elsewhere. Really we need all the attackers to be clinical, like Philogene was at Millwall. If he can do that regularly and not be as wasteful as he has in the home games, we won't have an issue with wasting chances.

So completely ignoring the bit I said about what happens if Delap gets injured I agree with you. I admire your faith in Rosenior I really do but this is bonkers, Traore and twine upfront will be lethal for us.

Is that an injury to a minor toe? If so he can probably do without it, lop it off, job done.
