Not really He can’t go back to work for a period of time as part of the redundancy package. I can’t recall exact dates, but it was well into Oct I believe.
His last show was on 1st June, he couldn't do any further radio work until 1st September, they've had over a month to sort it (and if they were going to, they could have sorted it at any point before then anyway).

No, he left the bbc officially then but cant go back for 3 months after. Had loads of long service level to take apparently.
Depends if you said it was 3 months after his last show or 3 months after he officially left in September. I belive the 3 month thing relates specifically to him going back as a freelancer. Mike white explained it prior to first game of the season and a good chunk of the season would be passed before he would be eligible.
I'd assumed he'd officially left when he did his last show and couldn't work in the following three months, are you actually saying he wasn't allowed to work on radio for six months? As he's now got a radio show on 107 FM, it suggests that's not the case.
