Absolutely. I listened to the Millwall commentators on Saturday and they were saying how well drilled we were at passing it around at the back, and that it was unlikely they would get the ball of us. Tbf they did also acknowledge that our fans might find it difficult to watch!

It's great to have goal scorers in the charts and at 80mins per goal for tufan and 118mins per goal for Connolly, it puts then as the top 2 in the current leading goal scorers as far as mins per goals go. Tufans is a little bit of a false picture as he's played so little and scored at hat trick in one game. But it's still over all positive and needs to continue..... But the rest of the team need to contribute and we have to score more goals. There's only 10 scored less then us in the full league and only 2 with less in the top 10. If we aren't going to keep clean sheets, we need goals

Someone else mentioned this earlier or on another tread but we still have not got to grips with threatening from corners and free kicks. A massive missed opportunity.

For me, it was the manner of Tufan's goals and overall play this season that makes him missed so badly. I'd also stick Ingram back in goal, as we could do with shoring up our defence as a priority. It's a tricky one though, as Allsop has certainly helped out at the other end.

I think that's a fair criticism, unlike some of the moaning on here. Our corners have been dreadful. Twine was close with a free-kick on Saturday, but he needs to be at least testing the keeper. Both areas need massive improvement.

This aspect of the game has always been espoused by managers as being particularly important in the Championship.

Regarding our free kicks, they are shocking. They are either rushed or passed backwards or side ways. Twine should be taken off free kick duty until he can hit the target. How many times do we not see a free kick delivered into an attacking area. It’s negative football.

I mentioned it after the Plymouth game after LR changed it up a bit mid-way through the first half. Seri was getting into great positions on the edge of their area. He has to be pulling the trigger on those, similar to how he was in his first few games with us, before his first injury. to both give the oppo something different to think about (rather than assuming we're going to pass it back out wide somewhere) and take some of the pressure off the forward having to get all our goals.

after the first half my pals and I had some talks of a big night out in London, after the second half we was that deflated we ended up going back to his apartment for a takeaway and to watch the boxing. One of the most boring halves of footy I’ve ever seen.

And they are discussing areas for improvement on today's 1904 podcast. Set pieces! Freekicks, corners, throw ins. Baz reckons Liam's response to the question was "we are not a tall side". If I caught that correctly.

We didn't beat the press for either of our goals v Millwall. I think we need to mix things up more often like in those instances and currently I don’t think we do it often enough. I'm all for trying to control the game by having the ball at feet, but when we do we rarely seem to score from it so we need to pick up the tempo there. I think there's a better balance we can strike in what we're doing in possession. But listening to Rosenior and from certain things I see, I'm not sure he wants us to play like that, and add that direct option into the mix.

Even when you look at the end of the game, whether Rosenior wanted them to play that slowly in the dying minutes is irrelevant - it's as if it's becoming so ingrained at this point that they don't know what else to do, or possibly that they think they'll be reprimanded for going long? I don't know... Although we're doing alright it still feels like we're letting valuable points slip away by our own inadequacies.

Everyone else? I'm content to be in the minority, if that is actually
the case and I'm allowed to decide for myself what is or isn't boring. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

It’s more difficult for the enemy fans to watch. Builds frustration not being able to get the ball, and when you finally do, losing it again quickly.

And another thing... I've not seen it mentioned here, but Gary Rowett is absolutely not a mug when it comes to Championship football, so that second half shouldn't come as a complete surprise.

You'd think not. On the defensive maybe?

Mind you Millwall's centre half looked about 8 foot tall
