Is it just bad luck or is he one if them players that will constantly be injured??
I know he has loads of admirers on here so please dont think im having a dig, but when you look at his record of games fit vs injured its pretty abysmal and it potentially cost us promotion last year.

Again im not having a dig so dont shoot me down, but whats everybody elses thoughts?

Huggins too! Cirkin is a next level player imo. Huggins also looks a quality player. Not much use when this quality is on the physio table most of the time!!
Hopefully they’ll get a run of games without injury.

Add in Alese....dont know how far away he is, or the problem, has he had an operation, obviously rushed back for Luton game but presumed he would have recovered more or less for start of season

Yeah Cirkin is quality but I would agree that he needs to really put a run of games together without getting injured. It's a strange one as he is so athletic and powerful for a young lad.

I don't think he has played a lot of senior games at such an intensity. Even still, he does need to string together a solid 20 games without a niggle.

That concussion thing was a freak injury like and seemed to have him out a while.

Huggins is much more of a worry in the injury world IMO.

He's still young and I guess his body could still be growing/developing. I remember Stephen Gerrard having a lot of muscle injuries at the start of his career. OR he could just be one of these injury prone players. He's missed a significant portion of every season he's played for us. It's a real shame like as I rate him the highest of all our full backs.

Aye, just bloody ironic/sickening that Mowbray says his injuries worries are behind him then he goes and gets injured. Looked like a groin or a hip issue maybe? Hope it's nowt serious

    He walked off.

Cirkin always gives 100% he doesn't shirk a challenge.
    - his injuries are usually a result of this.

Might put O/9 at full back and play Seelt in his place if we are still short on numbers after the international break. Or at least trying it out behind closed doors might be advisable.
Mid field is a worry too with Dan suspended, Alex will be over the moon with Jarred Gillett .

I expected TM to do that on Sat but persisted with playing 3 players out of position instead.

Ekwah, Dack and Pritch will be back for Stoke. Alese has an outside shout of starting IF he can get some u21 game time

He walked off, but it was an almost immediate decision to get Seelt on - not attempt to treat the injury or have him "run it off". Maybe, with his history they were being cautious, or maybe he's pinged his thigh and will be out for 4 months

Yeah hes getting over an operation that he had in May to overcome the injury he had last season with his thigh. Hes back in full training now.

My worry with Denis is he seems to pick up injury after injury where as Alese has had a longterm problem with the same thing

Cirkin's injuries are usually because he is physical and puts his body on the line. Not sure that it's his body which doesn't hold up, more that he just never shirks anything.

    I love that about him.

The reason for this post is because ive heard his injury is worse than expected and he wont be back anytime soon.

Imagine if his concussion hadnt have been a ridiculous amount of time from anyone else getting the same(no fault of his own), and the coming back and missing all the playoff games and matches leading up to them.

I honestly reckon wed have beaten Luton otherwise, and de ja vue has struck yet again with him, hence my thread.

I love him but being the impatient person i am im beginning to get pished off

I wonder if he's not cutout for football, too physical a sport for him? Eventually the injuries will slow him down and he won't stretch into challenges resulting in less injuries... changing his style of play. All hypothetical I know, but a bit of a worry for a player we all love to watch and who contributes to the team.
