Very poor overall. We played at our best for about 20 minutes out of the ninety and were lucky to get the draw against a team beaten 6-0 last week!
That was as poor as I’ve seen us for a while. Desperately need a 6 Mac Allister poor Elliott non existent. Konate and Gomez as bad as each other. Gomez is not a right back as long as I have a hole in my arse This constant slow play out from the back caused far more problems than it achieved. The biggest game changer was the ref not sending off the Brighton player for the Salah converted penalty We bought Nuñèz for his goals and pace and then didn’t play the tactics to exploit it. just a bad performance all round. Yes Gravenberch should have scored but then Jaoa Pedro for Brighton should have as well
Didn’t think was horrendous. First half was poor. We can’t pay Man City type football where everything is slow slow slow then bang. Klopps football has always been 100mph and we have diaz Nunez who need it be 100mph to get the best out of them. Some poor performances all round but 2 goals conceded from individual errors. At times we played some great football when we opened Brighton up and should have gone 3-1. They briefly mentioned it but gross should have been off and playing against 10 men in 2nd half when 2-1 up you’d expect us to press on and win the game. Gravenberch looked good when came on. Picks up the ball and moves with it well. I like him and think he’s going to be a quality player in that midfield. Mac in games where we aren’t dominating possession struggled at 6. Has to be a priority to find a new Fabinho type player to release him to play further up field. Saw moments of quality when he pushed up more on the half turn and playing passes between the lines.
Arsenal city finishes a draw and we’ve got a proper bunched up table going into internationals Spurs 20 lfc 19 City 18 (game in hand) arsenal 17 (game in hand) Villa 16 West Ham 16 brighton 15 5 points separate top 7. And we have played 4 of those 7 already. Arguably had the hardest start to the season based on league position faced.

If you think you’ve heard your keeper shout for the ball and the alternative is to stick out your weak leg and possibly deflect it pat him then im leaving it for the guy that can use his hands.
yeah and I've heard opposition shout keeper ball as well. clear the ball. zero excuses. ignore anything about people defending team.mates etc. if you saw a man utd player do that you'd slaughter them.
