Sutton is a Liverpool hater mate. Guessing you've not heard him communicate or comment on on our games?

I remember Chris when he was playing for Norwich and Villa. I am not surprised if he hates Liverpool.

VAR may take longer this week as their work has to be double checked.

    typically obtuse mistrusting pgmol.

don't spend the time deploying a new standard for communication and asking all their highly trained and trusted refs they have bigged up all week.

no show what you really think. none of them can be trusted so look over their shoulder.

My take on the Spurs debacle was they (VAR officials) were not really paying attention to what was going on, it was a completely unprofessional mess with no clear plan of how to make decisions and communicate those decisions. The ref on the other hand was just completely incompetent

I'm hoping to see what I veiw as pur best potential 11 start here.

    alisson
    trent konate vvd Robertson
    Szoboszlai macallister gravenberch
    salah nunez diaz
we will have matip, gomez, quansah, elliott and doak all wanting to get on but no gakpo and no jota.

we hopefully put only 45mins in the forwards with a view to this game and they can give the effort here.

Not an awful lot on the bench to change the game from an attacking pov. Team as expected though.

Win this and would say it’s been a very good start to the season. Max of 2 points off top of the table. With only 1 controversial defeat following away trips to Chelsea Newcastle and Brighton. 6/6 in europa.

I assume Elliott starts as Gravenberch is clearly not fit enough yet for a full game, expect to see him coming on in the second half assuming no one gets sent off.

Interesting Brighton line up. Bbc has it 4231 with gross left back and March cm.

    But I’d expect it’s maybe more 343

Elliot and matip get nods over the superior gravenberch and konate.

Hope we do not regret that.

Yes Elliott makes more sense in terms of workrate, which I think will be key here.

Other than Mitoma Brighton don’t have searing pace. Ferguson and Pedro arent lightning so shouldn’t be huge issue running behind us but Mitomas pace behind TAA and Matip may be only thing to worry about.
