Buluts reasoning is he does not do enough off the ball but so what? If he creates chances that balances it out. If he won’t even play him as a sub why put him on the bench and also extend his contract?

Bulut should have started him in the no 10 role yesterday. The chosen midfield was so negative.

It says a lot when Bulut brings on the ineffective Sawyers whom he was happy to see go in the last window.

Couldn't understand the introduction of Sawyers unless it was in desperation of hanging on for the point.

Sitting deep with Wintle dropping back as well left a huge gap up front. I've rarely seen a team so relieved when the final whistle blew.

I said elsewhere, if Colwill doesn't get a run of games while Ramsey is out, he might as well leave.

Ok, he doesn't do the dirty stuff, so work on it while he's playing.
He's more likely to develop aspects of his game while playing than not.
So he costs us a few points in the process.
It's probably costing us more points by not playing him.

Siopis, Ralls AND Wintle isn’t working.
4231 with either Robinson or Colwill at 10. Siopis with EITHER Ralls OR Wintle.

Get what you are saying chaps but I'm not convinced he would have done particularly well yesterday as they were snapping into their tackles very quickly and with some vigour.

Personally I'd suggest Colwill would be better used against the type of teams that stand off and play more football such as Boro the other evening though I do fully agree that in Rambo's absence it really is a case of if not now then when??

I guess the other question to ask is how has he been in training, what's his attitude like?

If rumours were true and Morison had a huge barney with him could he maybe have a bit of the Billy big nads about him that doesn't sit well with more authoritarian type managers??

It does seem odd that a supposedly gifted player keeps getting overlooked but who knows what goes on behind the scenes?

All keeps things interesting and provides conversation points though eh?? <cheers>

It seemed as you infer that Bulut was playing for a point, as the City players seemed to just run out of gas midway through the second half. It doesn’t bode well for the next series of 3 games in a week if City play with so little energy and seeming lack of fitness as they did yesterday.
