I don’t doubt it will be a difficult game. They are a better side than last year and are above us in the league. In terms of tired players they are going to be in the same boat and have just travelled back from Germany. Travelling to London is no big deal.
Hmmmm well we'll see but I really need to see Almiron Joelinton and Wilson on the team sheet. The players will be knackered and the margins are small.
Focusing entirely on how tired our players will be having played on Wednesday at home and not mentioning our opponents played on Thursday in Germany. Seems reasonable. I'd settle for a draw but because I think they're a good side not due to whataboutery regarding midweek matches.
I'm not though am I ?I've already mentioned the injuries. West Ham are in better shape in that department and are at home. Whatabout that.
So just say that West Ham might win because they are at home and are ahead of us in the league. This bollocks about us having to travel to London, when they have had to travel even further back to London probably works in our favour.
What I said was would be difficult and that I felt West Ham are getting Newcastle at a good time and I'm happy with that assessment because of our injury situation in comparison to theirs along with them being at home. West Ham will have been home in their own beds for good 24 hrs before Newcastle travel ... away games involve traveling which is factually tiring. They also rested several players and Newcastle didn't have that luxury...quite simply Newcastles injury situation is considerably worse.
Nah, squad much bigger and more flexible these days, rather than injuries meaning our team is crippled, they give the likes of Tino, Longstaff, Laecelles, Murphy etc chances to shine.
I'm not sure he'll risk Joelinton looked like a hammy but obviously a slight one. If he does it badly he might be out for months and have repeated issues with it.
There's a chance he and Wilson are available howe said but whether he will risk them is another thing. I doubt either will start but it's anyones guess. Will he just throw out the same 11 knowing its one last push to the international break ? Just swap Gordon for Anderson maybe ?
