And the 2006/7 season - the penalty against Powell for hitting the ball with his face, and Ashley Young's non-offside goal against Spuds disallowed for offside.
Just watched an absolutely cracking match on TNT - Dorking vs Barnet. Both sides a credit to the National League - just a shame one of them lost (2-3 in Barnet's favour). Fast-paced attack from both sides throughout - none of the crappy slow, sideways and backward passing that spoils the game in higher divisions. I dread meeting either of them in the FA Cup if they continue to play like they did.
Are BW still part time - maybe struggling more as other bigger teams are ? Only a few points off the top 10 or so as it’s pretty tight . https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/national-league/table

Really quite sad to see that Bill Kenwright has died. He just didn't have enough money for a EPL team these days, but what he had in abundance was a love for his club. He served them well, but was not so happy in recent times. I would rather see a genuine fan in charge of a club than a venture capitalist who sees it as a business opportunity.
One thing he was is someone who really cared for the club with great passion. Like you say got a lot of recent stick but sometimes every club could do with someone like him who knows the club so well.
The Premier League has recommended Everton face a 12-point deduction in its case against them for breaching profit and sustainability rules.
So - a run of around 70 consecutive seasons in the top flight coming to an end? Good enough for them. I'm not one to hold a grudge, but they pinched my boyhood hero Alex Young from Hearts for a paltry £55K (less than that actually, as that amount covered two players - the other being George Thomson). Coming, as it did, only a few months after Spurs had pinched Dave Mackay from Hearts too, I was absolutely gutted - and Hearts never recovered from losing the three of them.
It would seem that Everton need to get advice from Man. City when it comes to financial matters. I have lost count of the number of investigations into City's spending
When will their potential points deduction come into play. Be well deserved but could give Luton a chance to stay up!
The Rooney effect has certainly affected Birmingham City Come back Eustace all is forgiven Hearts are my Scottish Team
