Germany vs Holland had a midfield and attack of

    Kheidra Kroos
    Muller Ozil Podolski
    Klose

But they have brilliant players like Gomez (who I'm surprised wasn't started), Reus, Gotze and L. Bender on the bench

I would say it'll be Muller on the right, Podolski on the left and Ozil like in the world cup, just maybe Gomez will be leading the line instead of Klose, even though he's doing well at Lazio.

Definitely if they get the defence right. Who did they play in the back four in the Holland game? I'd be interested to see a back four of Lahm-Boateng-Hummels-Schmelzer, but I don't think they'll do that, they'll probably go with something like Lahm left back, Mertesacker centre back and Boateng at right back?

I think Klose will get the nod. More experienced and IMO one of the best finishers in international football. His goalscoring record speaks for itself. <ok>

Interesting, I wonder if Badstuber is ahead of Hummels at the moment? Find it weird that Hummels didn't start there as he's by miles their best centre back (imo).

I agree Klose has a superb goalscoring record but If I was manager I wouldn't leave Gomez out at the expense of Klose. Gomez is basically running at a goal per game in the last two seasons. Looking at the Dutch game though it does seem Klose is going to get the nod up front.

Yeah I know what you mean, I agree Gomez is the better all-round player but this will most likely be Klose's last international tournament as by the next World Cup he'll be 35 and therefore I imagine Klose will want to go on a high. <ok>
