Basically it's down to his game management and decision making. He's a tendency to over do things, not make passes when he should, play with his head down to much etc. You can see it from his start with us in the things he's does. If he brings all that into his game he will he'll be a top top player. Villa aren't sure it'll come after working on it with him for a while, hence why they've allowed him to move on. They do recognise though what a player he will be if he brings it into his game, hence why they where so adamant they had a buy back....it's win win for them.

His potential is definitely there, absolutely no doubt about it. But that doesn't make him the best player in the championship or even close ATM

Millwall are showing why you can’t play with a back 4 in the modern game.

Philogene is class. Goal, assist and that through ball to Delap just then was brilliant.

We are playing totally different today, more direct, more pace and tempo and low and behold we are all over them. We're creating multiple chances and we look in total control.

Hopefully Ipswich was a reality check for LR and he's become more open and flexible. We look so much more comfortable front to back ( bar the brain fart for their goal )

They're leaving one in on philogene every time. Ref needs to get on top of that

They are a great team, but if we played as we have today it could and probably would have been a very different game. Up until today LR has pretty much played the same way game in game out, home or away no matter who we played or how they set up, today has been a real change and ( so far ) it's working

Think Ipswich was a good wake up call. The tempo has been better and we are winning a lot of the second balls which we pretty much lost all of on Tuesday. Losing to Ipswich thankfully wont define our season its games like today that do

Philogene and/or Traoré are one more goal contribution away from being called the n-word by some knuckle-dragging Millwall fan.

If the loss to Ipswich was a catalyst for change and more flexibility etc then losing it will probably gain us more points this season then the 3 we lost.
