I'm not stupid at all, just playing your game, what's the matter? Don't want to play anymore?

A few more ignores coming up….

time to bow out. Very disappointing - Neil & especially the ref - but **** happens

need to take stock, learn from it & bounce back….. and look at more strength in depth at CDM.

    Best thing to go for!

I usually go to the counter on the way at any local one (North West). Get meatballs with either a cinnamon bun or a hot dog but always the meatballs

They always say you learn more from a defeat than a win . We will have to wait and see how the layers react , in previous games they have come back from 1 nil down so there is heart in this team . It has been also said with a young team you will get ups and downs

I’ve given my fair share of criticism of Neil last season but he’s the captain. If he can’t question the referee then who can? I’m bored if this **** now it’s embarrassing. A grown man in a position of massive responsibility can’t explain his decisions yet if that was the ordinary bloke in his job he would have to explain to his gaffer.

i absolutely hate games against the smoggies, i have nothing against them it just always seems to be 'that game' if something could go wrong it will, last season LND got injured in the warm up and threw the team out of any rhythm, today we get Mr 'i will show i can handle a big crowd' referee.

trying to throw some/any kind of blame on TM or dan neil is pathetic...we kept them at bay nicely first half and only one person ruined the game for 50% of the support today.

This is what you personally attacked me for:

Mowbray has been great but this hurts him honestly, of all the games for him this is the one where he is under more scrutiny, see Chopra Vs Mags etc

I was a little worried about today after the first half against Watford and the spaces between our midfield without Ekwah but they couldn’t take advantage. Those spaces were there again today but like Watford boro weren’t taking advantage first half and their defence looked really shakey which I thought we’d exploit eventually.

I will say with the red card (haven’t seen it back yet) I have no problem if they want to stop the player abuse towards refs, in fact I’d prefer it, but Im confident in saying that there won’t be a first half second yellow for dissent shown in any other game this season even when there should be, consistency is the issue. Of all the games for a ref to make a stand against it, he does it ten seconds from half time at a goal kick in a ‘derby’ game. Ruined what was actually an exciting end to end which could have been any score line.

    Oh well.

Neil had a silly hot headed moment! Not many refs would have shown him a second yellow for that imo, makes it even worse if the ref did tell the teams they would ref it with empathy for the fact it was a 'derby'.

    Never in it after that.

Before that could have went either way and I think we would have nicked it with out quality.

First match this season we have lost and been no where near! But even then you can look and say don't go down to 10 every week.

Dan Neil is integral to how we play especially with no Ekwah or Evans. Too passionate/SILLY from him today when we needed calm head!

Plenty of choices just made the wrong ones , only my opinion but Roberts is a luxury 10 men against 11 cant afford, the only decision he got right to-day was taking Burstow off. And going back to the last game his subs were laughable , but we are not laughing now Boro are, with their biggest win ever on Wearside.
