Yeah, I got bored of Starfield too. Exactly why I went for Baldurs Gate. It's hella immersive should give it a go
yea, it's got unreal replayability.

The different responses depending on the class you are or who you decide to play with and the decisions you make.

Act 3s a bit buggy but in general its great.

One thing, you should do frequent regular long rests if you want to get more of the character development stuff as you can miss some stuff if you try go too long without it. Also save it before you do because there are times when quests are time dependent (more often than not it isnt but just in case)

i did wonder if this was going to happen when most reviews appeared to be about 7-4 .
Started positive enough but then there was a slide as people got further into the game and realised that there simply isn't enough out there to get players out there exploring. The base building as well wtaf? Like @Sucky said "I seem to be getting on well enough without it". That's because there's not much of a point to it.

I think that's the most disappointing thing, if you traveled to a random planet and there were things to find it would be fine as you could then just explore and discover but there's nothing out there other than the AI generated bases or caves that are on every planet.

that was my worry about scale that a lot would just be copies as no way have they done hundreds of real variations .

Went on metacritic and user reviews were much lower than the original pro launch ones.including one fella who posted
Almost full ninja now and my scoped and silenced weapons are really good, can one shot a lot of enemies.
I've dabbled in base building, it's easy enough once you get into it and I've had a go at ship building which is a bit more tricky.

GTA6 & Wreckfest 2 are the only games I'll buy when they come out, the rest I can wait for.
I should get a PS5 before GTA6 gets released, for sure the price will spike when it does.

Maté bringing in his steam deck to work so I can have a look at it……….he reckons it’s running pretty much everything he’s thrown at it so far…great bit of kit by sounds of it but for me over priced even though they are losing on every unit sold supposedly

anyways as you know I’m more into retro so emulators are a thing for me and this thing has it all

Still playing but not much has changed my mind, I think I will end up playing this for a long time despite the disappointment.

Recently was just flying about and for the first time there was a mission to discover and it was really good. **** knows why they haven't built more of that into the game.

probably adding stuff all the time which is one reason for not buying games straight away.

Ill deffo be playing it for ages yet, but one thing thats annoying is how fuking easy it is, even on hard difficulty im erasing everything easily.

Skyrim had me making potions and having to fight people strategically with augmented weapons and ****, Starfield im just usuing stabdard guns and the upgrades just feel meh.

And definitely more random mission encounters are needed, this is all very tick off the list for me, and the random missions ive found only one was any good, some weird prison colony with famous dead people clones, i recruited Emilia earkhart to my crew from it.

Its no skyrim, just not enough mystery in this universe so far..
