We go again next game. Bad day at the office. Game means more to the team that has a "derby" with Hull and Leeds.
So everyone using a swear word on the pitch gets a card now? It's a f*** foul ref isn't even abusive? It's just a colourful adjective!?
this has been a disaster, it should have been a good, tight game against two in-form teams but spoilt by an over zealous ref (again) nobody in the ground or on the pitch had any idea what was happening, i get that ref's are supposed to be getting tough on dissent type actions but neil was 20 yards off him, hardly in his face or grabbing his arms etc. what is more annoying is that basically we kept them very quiet first half. patto had a lad collide with him yet no foul, twice one of ours got close to thier keeper and instant foul, have seen a few 'shirt pulls' from them that the ref let go and can almost guarantee if it was one of ours they would get a free kick and to be honest (with the benefit of replays) he has missed a lot or ignored a lot...i hate throwing the blame at the officials but this has been a shambolic game from them, credit to boro i guess, you can only beat what is in front of you and they have played it well. as for the game itself, we had too many players taking a day off, clarke and roberts not up to scratch especially but now we have a break and should get a couple more oprtions back from injury...dan ballard gets my MotM, dan neil gets a special mention through being given sh1t treatment by the ref.
There's unknown tribes, deep in the heart of the Peruvian jungle, who knew you would be on having a go at Dan Neil....again.
Cracking strike from Seelt think he’s looked a little uncomfortable at right back but still done well enough. Look forward to seeing him develop and playing CB when he will inevitably need to. despite everything, Ballard and O’Nien both been great again today
It doesn't matter, that's the reality. If your a coach or player and underperformagainst the club you're emotionally associated with (decades of history with), people are going to draw those conclusions.
Mowbray had an off day for sure. But he’s had many more good days. 0-4 now. Shake it off, have a rest and crack on with the season
