Game was even up to the sending off. We'd had the better chances, but the game had gone once he'd been sent off. It's played into their hands. Only way we stay in the game is if they have someone sent off quickly after half time to even it up. Neil's stupid for being sent off, but the ref is clueless. He's a poor ref, generally just a VAR official, who'd been accused of being arrogant previously after awarding an iffy penalty against Bournemouth last season.
This can happen to a very young side when there's a red card ... ... yes we fell apart, after the first goal, but that wasn't a massive shock tbh.

A Rusyn goal could at least salvage something tbh. I still think our young side are learning. Whatever anybody thinks of the ref, Neil will and should have learned a lot from this. Jobe also having to essentially play centre midfield on his own likewise. 30 mins in this environment for Rigg. And 60 for Seelt. A Rusyn goal would be good.

The reaction to the red from Mowbray has been naive. I wonder if Triantis should have been the player to bring on and put O'Nien or even Hume into midfield. We left Jobe to do a job he's ill equipped for and he's been horribly exposed.
Mowbray has been great but this hurts him honestly, of all the games for him this is the one where he is under more scrutiny, see Chopra Vs Mags etc
Our second half performance has shown how good Dan Neil is. So now not really the time to be dismissing that.

I feel strangely positive still, massive learning curve if nothing else and we’ve bounced back countless times from poor results, 2 week break 3 or 4 back after the break, we’ll be fine
