Very true ... much the same vibe I had for Filbert Street ... the old man was full of tales about when he was a lad and how the blokes in flat caps would lift the kids and pass them down to the front where they were allowed to sit on the little perimeter wall ... some of the turnstiles were between terraced housing ... and there was warm bread and proper butter ...
It was always customary at Priestfield to let the kids stand at the front in the days of terracing iirc.
Its horrible isn’t it My days of wearing footy shirts are long gone but even if I did buy them (no adult should ever wear a football shirt) I’d leave this one well alone.
