If no Field, Colback or Cook then **** knows what we do. Assume Cannon isn’t fit for a while and Fox is a no. Begovic Smyth-Kakay-Dunne-JCS-Paal Dozzell-Duke Willock-Dykes-Chair Doesn’t fill me with confidence but that midfield is ****ed whoever we pick.
Nice one Dave I read somewhere that if we lose tomorrow it's the club's worst home run record ever. 141 years or something Tomorrow I'll be at the F1 with my phone off so I don't get depressed
Don’t like the look of this. We need some points. We need another win. But we don’t score many goals. Plus we don’t win at home. Hopefully something will give. It might be a 0-0 draw? Optimistically a 1-0 win????
Does the ref get rested for this weekend too, and does Bamford get banned for simulation ? Surely should, if as they must have judged there was no contact to rescind the red card !
Dykes has been playing midfield in our last 2 away games(genius not), so he could theoretically play there, with Armstrong up top
I don’t disagree and this team is full of holes no matter what formation we play but I’m starting to think what little shock value we had with the wonky 5-4-1 has been lost. I also don’t think we have much ability to try a new formation but do feel the players we have would suit a diamond with Chair behind Dykes and Armstrong. I’m not a big JCS fan and Cook in a two is exposed potentially but with Cannon or, bless him, Kakay we could go with… Cannon-Cook-JCS-Paal Colback-Field-Dozzell Chair Dykes-Sinclair Smyth as reserve striker or on for midfielder when we inevitably chase the game.
I don't think Cannon is anywhere near match fit unfortunately, so it will still be Kakay playing there. I'd like to see us play 3-5-2 tomorrow , we can't afford to lose the midfield battle. Maybe it's worth giving Kolli a start up top with Dykes, but we all know Ainsworth won't do it. I just can't see us getting a result at the moment
Did I read that they've lost 5 of their last 6 games...... if so we all know what happens next..... Sigh.....
