North North east
North of River Tees

North Tees down to Leeds M62

Midlands M62 down to South of Brum

South is South of Brum to River Thames

Deep South is Thames to South coast

Not sure about this. Glasgow is less than 55.5 degrees north last time I checked.
As for north it is very subjective, but my line is north of the Humber.

Sixty north is well north of the UK mainland. About halfway to the Faroes.

Imo when politicians say "The North", they clearly mean Manchester up over.

There's plenty of people in Sheffield who claim to be northerners - mainly because none of them want to admit to being midlanders.

My missus is from Leeds and to wind her up I say that the north starts at Wetherby and that the entirety of the M62 corridor is in the midlands.

If the Centre is in Leicester then for me Manchester, Sheffield and Probably Leeds are all in the Midlands and should not be classed as Northern. The North is from Leeds to the borders
An approximate line between Bristol and Great Yarmouth is the border between south and midlands to me. Border between Chester, through Lincon and to Skeggy is midland to north. That has always been my view.

It's never bothered me much, though when I was travelling around I got the impression that Midlandish sort of people and anyone South of there would say "Up North".

I'd say the North was north of the Tees, and south of Arab occupied territory above The Tyne river, though of course, many of our supporters live there!

some of them have not been further north than Watford i reckon, the new Wembley should have been built near Derby i say, proper transport set up etc too far for your southerners up to travel, London worst place for traffic in Britain as well. in the EFL cup Wolves were north as well as Leicester yet Norwich is further up but they are South surely. Berwick English but play in Scotland for some reason.
