I think the most telling part of that report is when Clive asks...."do the players want to play like this?" A better coach would get better performances out of these players imo. Hopefully, Saturday will be one of the last games Ainsworth is in charge.
I totally agree with you Col and Clive's report. There seemed no plan apart from playing for a 0-0 and then playing for a 1-0 loss. The shape was non existent. Tactics were as above. Ainsworth has to go. We need more of a twat at the helm. Nathan Jones would be my shout. Horrible little **** but I'm thinking that's exactly what we need at the moment.
We never really had much discussion about Dykes going in goal, with Archer on the bench. Maybe GA can’t even see Dykes scoring a goal to get a point we need. Or maybe he just doesn’t have the skills/ability to rearrange the team or tactics(?) to deal with that scenario. I don’t know, a strange decision amidst a basket full of mysteries.
Great for Archer’s self esteem isn’t it? The gaffer doesn’t even trust me for injury time when we’re a goal down? Quite restrained from angry Clive, only the one rape reference and criticism of the ref because of his height, or lack of. But surely describing this country as a ‘festering ****hole’ will cost him some of his fans?

Going to be shouted at...but I don't think Bamford dived. He lost footing as Begovic thundered towards him. Not a dive. I understand he told the ref, and Ainsworth afterwards to. Bloody ref
All well and good Beth but if he is Honest Patrick why at the time does he not approach the ref and tell him he wasnt fouled? Looked pretty smug about it at the time once he realised he wasnt getting booked for simulation!
Think he'd made all 5 Subs by the time of Bergovic's removal so he couldn't bring on Archer, unless more than 5 are allowed now? It was still a bit strange when all we were doing by then was booting it in same Dykes direction, but Lyndon probably grabbed the gloves, it made another nice pic to show his kids.
Half and half on this stick. He immediately puts his hands up with like..sort of not ok.... But true when Begovic and Field and others really go to ref, he doesn't follow it through. It seems Bamfords admission has help Begovic case. I am prepared to let this one go. We weren't going to score...even if we were still playing...we still haven't scored.
