clingo - not complaining, but that Howson penalty on the hour to put Middlesbrough 2-1 up cost me over £300...

 

I'd write and tell him and the ref.

 

Reckon I'll give that a miss as refs are never wrong and Howson can't read.

At least I've got my stake money in the bag for a City win tomorrow........

Strange one this from Watford - normally indifferent form results in the boot not an extension

 

Apparently he was on a very short term deal there and they've been negotiating an extension for ages.

An "extended" contract with Watford offers about as much security as chocolate chastity belt - and it's not as tasty.........

 

Wonder if those fickle lot down west now think Michael Duff is the best manager since bread became sliced

The whole football world knows the they belong in the upper reaches of the Premier League based purely on their "Swansalona" footballing philosophy.

Any manager who doesn't achieve that is not worth having.

Duff is duff.
Martin was garbage which is why he wasn't backed in the transfer market. He got lucky with their run at the end of last season.
Cooper was clueless.
Potter was passable but wasn't good enough for them....

I think the last manager to get any credit was Rodgers for flukily taking them up via the playoffs...

Before him Roberto Martinez was the only other, and he only got credit after a few years once they realised there was a method to his systems (I seem to recall lots of them grumbling that it was too tippy happy and they should be getting it forward far quicker and more directly!!).

Now if you want REAL bi-polar fans you need to journey East to the Wurzels board ... they swing from Pearson being a top manager to having made no difference just about on a weekly basis!!!

 

I still reckon LJ was the Wurzels best manager

 

I'm pretty sure they only went backwards under him in his last season.... the fact he kept a club of their size competitive whilst having to sell to keep their heads (just about) above water in a division as challenging as the Championship says an awful lot about his abilities I reckon....

Funny how people on the outside of a relationship can see things differently to those in it eh??

 

Tbh Brizzle, I don't have a clue about how well they did under LJ. All I see is that they still row about him

 

Didn’t realise Sheff Wed sacked their manager this week.

Would he dare & cross the city if asked because as we all know they’re a great club with great fans who are his sort of people

 

He could do part time at Rotherham and Wednesday.
