Who needs a window when you can fall out the sky? But at least Putin has got rid of a couple of the Nazi's that were in Ukraine. That's, of course, if he was actually on the plane and didn't blow it out the sky himself. No one hunts down dead people.
Well that didn't take long! Though I've got a feeling there's something more to this than meets the eye.
I can accept and fully expected Putin to get him at some point. Didn’t think it would be this quick, though. The only thing that has alarm bells ringing for me is the report now coming out that all of the top men for Wagner were on that jet. That’s very unusual for the military as you never want your full command wiped out in one go.
Also saying that the manifest said 10 people on board but only 8 bodies found. Not sure which side is playing this game but it's not fixed as a result.
Would have been a rookie move if Wagner had all of their top brass on that plane And if Russia knew this, then it was an easy and obvious strike.
So I'm listening to Tobias Ellwood today talking about how the United Nations is suddenly now no longer fit for purpose because we have one permanent member state (Russia) invading another country illegally with the support of another permanent member state supporting it (China) and with the power to veto any action by the U.N. thereby making it a waste of space. Someone forgot to remind Tobias that one permanent member state had already invaded another country illegally with the support of another member state 20 years ago, in Iraq. Tobias solution is not to scrap permanent member status so that no fcker can veto anything and it behaves more like a democracy with a majority vote on everything - security council and general assembly meaning it might actually have some teeth. No, Tobias solution is add more permanent member states so more can veto any action to serve their own self-interests
It's not been fit for purpose since the day it was created. And it won't be while you have 5 countries vetoing whatever the fck serves their self interest or those who grease their palms.
A Palestinian nongovernmental organization said on Wednesday some 1,300 Palestinian detainees in Israeli jails started a one-day hunger strike in solidarity with Palestinian detainee Kayed al-Fasfous. The Palestinian Prisoners Society said in a statement that 1,300 Palestinian detainees held under the notorious Israeli administrative detention started the hunger strike to voice solidarity with al-Fasfous, who has been on hunger strike for 63 days. The Israeli policy of administrative detention allows authorities to extend the detention of a Palestinian prisoner indefinitely without charge or trial. According to the NGO statement, al-Fasfous has entered a difficult health situation after more than 60 days of hunger strike to protest his administrative detention. Al-Fasfous, 34, from the Dura town, southwestern Hebron, was detained by the Israeli forces in May, and was placed under administrative detention without charge or trial, prompting him to start a hunger strike against his detention. According to the latest figures, nearly 5,200 Palestinians are languishing in Israeli jails, including 38 women, 170 minors placed under the administrative detention. Israeli fascist pigs
I won't read further until you clarify which NGO said this, and provide a source if possible. There are some fantastic NGOs out there but also sadly quite a few who are little more than the PR wing of terrorist groups. Al Fasfous was released from prison in early 2021 after undertaking a hunger strike for significantly longer than the time quoted. Unless verified, I'd be suspicious that an old story is being rehashed and respun for PR using a recognisable name and face. I stand to be corrected, of course. Thanks
NGO is Palestinian Prisoners Society http://mhpss.ps/en/organization/the-palestinian-prisoners-society/MJEN2Ysg-hs= There are multiple sources reporting the story. The story isn't Al Fasfous either way, the story is Israeli administrative detention, and the ability to imprison ppl without charge or trial. Many of whom are picked up in midnight IDF raids on palestinian homes.
