Careful what you do with your legs and arms. We don't want a load of Corfu fighters.* * That was brought to you from the "Brizzle Gets His Coat Book of Puns"
Been doing 'alternative' things the last few days. Yesterday was taking a birch tree down for a neighbour. It was leaning right over, across the fence into their paddock. Used the tractor and a chain to hold it down so it didn't spring back as the weight came off as I cut lengths off it. Then held the last bit up with the tractor so it didn't fall on the fence when I cut it. Stacked the trunk pieces for firewood. Stacked the 'twigs' for bug food. Today was topping and flat rolling a paddock for a different neighbour. 2 hours driving up and down. Just switched off. Might go fishing tomorrow.
Most jobs on fields you're probably doing 5mph. Relaxing. Moving between two fields I did trip a speed gun entering a 30 at 26mph. Absolutely gunning it. Especially with a 2 tonne flat roller on the back.
Heading over to Mountain Ash rugby club in a bit to pick up Mrs Remote after she watched her friend sing in a concert. Might have to grab a pint with her hubby while I'm there.
Can't say I know the club to be honest Cling. I never played them back in the day. Most of my senior rugby was played across the border. Going in cognito. Its on the outskirts of Aber territory.
I only know it thanks to Google! The name rang a bell though so I wanted to see if I recognised it by sight. No doubt it'll fester and I'll end up going through a load of old diaries to find out if I've been there. Anyway, hope Mrs Remote enjoyed the performance and that you have a tidy pint.
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/...kCopy&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar And back to politics and the efforts of Prickford and his cronies to ensure the continuity of Labour in government in Wales. Let's spend £120m on increasing the numbers of Assembly members. Never mind the NHS in Wales is up sh1t creek without a paddle, our roads are crumbling, the railway service is dire and everything else is in a mess (apart from Remote's farm). Let's have more politicians that we really need as their workload is so high!!! If so how come I have seen some televised debates recently with more empty desks than members in place? Assembly members, you all applied to be part of this. Don't ask for more of your ilk just work smarter and harder and for our benefit, not your own pockets and self satisfaction. I'm not saying the Tories are any better but Labour have consistently driven us into the ground and insist on continuing to do so.
Had a leak in a pipe under the concrete floor of the shed. Fixed it yesterday. Not a huge job. Three quarter inch polypropylene pipe in a 4 inch duct. It was the 15 curious heifers that took up the time. When I finished, it felt (and smelled) like I'd experienced a shower of sh!t.
