Bamford did cheat and the card should be overturned. It was tricky to see live but to be honest I'm surprised and shocked that Begovic didn't get any cards for time wasting!! It puzzles me how, when losing he is trying to wind the clock down. Incidents aside, we deserved absolutely nothing from that game and that's what we got. Kakay and Smyth play like Siamese twins, Ainsworth needs to sort this out, it effects the whole shape, or lack of it.
We will appeal and lose. The line will be that the intent was there and the attacker went down whilst getting out of the way of a nasty challenge. it staggers me how this happens to us so often. Recent games, Swansea handball goal, Armstrong no penalty v Coventry, Leeds score from a move when the ball clearly went out of play and Begovic sent off for not fouling someone.
I feel for those who travelled far and paid 45 poke to watch that. Leeds weren't on form but looked like they were only in 2nd gear. Speaking to my Leeds supporting friends, they were pretty shocked to see how far we had fallen. One saying that we don't even attempt to play football. Hard to argue on that showing
Bamford's own initial reaction looked like he was putting his hands up to say no touch, obviously didn't feel passionate enough about it to try and stop the red card but still.
"We played some great stuff" "We need to get the ball down and play some of the great stuff we've been playing recently" Sweet lord almighty, If that's our great stuff, please keep me from watching our poor stuff.
apparently intent justifies sending him off. Getting pelters from the Leeds messageboard. Rightly so, we are awful
His leg goes out at a peculiar angle, which is why I assumed there must have been contact. It's a very odd way to dive, if that's what he was doing. Seems there there was indeed no contact, but I would maintain that a foul should still be given if a reckless challenge causes the opposing player to fall over in avoiding it. Not a red card, though.
Totally deluded. We had Crichley who spoke and acted like an u10's kids manager. Now we have Ainsworth who speaks and acts like an u12's manager. When will our board get a grip and see what 99% of the fans see. It's funny cos the four year plan was on sky documentaries the other night. Whatever you say about Briatore and co, they knew an idiot when they saw one, they just got rid until they got the right man, who took them up and their plan succeeded. How far we have gone backwards under our current owners is mind blowing
I actually thought we would be ok up to last night, know it's still only October but something about that performance and total lack of anything, plus injuries mounting up and such a small squad...we are in deep trouble
Im not sure, that everything is GA:s fault. Club did his job very difficult after they didnt gave him funds for a decent goalscorer (who would score 10-15 gls in a season) during the last window. It aint easy to score goals with our frontline Armstrong, Dykes and Kolli…. It is true that GA’ comments after every defeat are stupidely hopefuls….
Stats say a lot….. Apparently the gaffer was very happy with the effort the boys put in. There lies the problem. How can you be happy with a loss.
Clive's pissed off, so is my daughter who paid a student fortune to attend the game ... As good as we've got? Report - Queens Park Rangers News | Loft For Words (fansnetwork.co.uk)
I like his factual report. If we can't do the basics right and we keep proving it, it tells us it is going to be a long season.
