Give me a million £ a week and I'll play with a team of five-year-olds against Real Madrid every week.

Why would you want to drag the five year old down to your level?

Is that it for the World cup now then?
Are we never going to have any normal world cups again now? Are they always gonna be hosted in objectively unsuitable weather environments or just spread across the whole ****ing globe now?
Can we not just pick a country to host the ****ing thing?
Like I was saying yesterday, I dont have a problem with co-hosting per se, if it makes sense, like USA and Mexico, or England and Scotland, or Japan and South Korea, but when the co-hosts are literally on the other side of the planet on a different ****ing continent......<doh>

What they should have done is just hosted the final there then.
So all the teams can remain settled throughout the whole tournament and only 2 teams would have to go to South America for the final game.
That wouldnt have been too bad.

No idea why I am answering lmao
As I didn’t watch the last WC
I would imagine the host nation would be a tad pissed if they were to lose the showpiece
Totally agree they should have just held the whole thing in Uruguay

I have no idea why I am complaining either, cos I also didnt watch the last WC <laugh>
Am generally not all that interested in international football altogether, it just gets in the way of real football.
But still, FIFA's spastication triggers me sometimes. All their ******ed decisions effect the players and the fans who travel abroad to watch their teams

    so let's think fairly.

2006 Germany. High level of corruption involved
2010 South Africa. placating complaints of corruption
2014 Brazil. suspected corruption but was to go to South america
    2018 Russia. pure crruption
    2022 Qatar. monumental corruption
2026 USA, Canada Mexico. more addressing of complaints after Qatar and blatter being arrested (never cross america)
2030. announced as some globe trotting thing to try to pre placate both Europe and South America
    2034 promised to Asia.

    Europe
    row
    South america
    Europe (with bribes)
    row (massive bribes)
    North America
try to get both Europe as South america in
    ROW. Saudi in 2034

just watch. they have again come up with a dodge to get a massive personal pay day out of the Saudis as soon as possible.

this will again complete **** up normal football for 2 full seasons and no fan will enjoy it at all from Europe or amercias but it will be lauded as amazing by anyone who attended and got a gift on their pillow.

I don't really care bar not wanting to listen to little englander we are going to win this crap in the build up then the inevitable inquest etc.

they are going to materially affect 2 seasons again for this saudi bought bloody cup in 2034. I'll boycott that one too. no loss to me.

The one in North america was given to them on the basis of stopping them suing and breaking fifa rather than for any footballing reasons. Mexico is the only place that actually cares about football on that ticket.

The lastest one is the only shot morocco will ever get at seeing a world cup on home soil so its a sop to the south americans really. none can really afford it.

Well he played as LB, which is not his original position. His mistake on 3rd goal proves that, normally a defensive back would quickly move to offside line after clearing ball, but he just slept after hitting ball.

About Yılmaz, he is an ordinary player nothing more, physically very well build but lacks other aspects, tunnel visioned. He is a raw version of another Yılmaz, Burak Yılmaz. Same qualities, same position when Burak was 23.

I really can't be doing with the media hysteria surrounding England's excursions into these competitions - it further puts me off tournaments I have very little interest in anyway.

Morocco may be on a different continent, but it's probably not much more of a hop than it is between some of the stadiums within Iberia.
Including South America is crazy. Perhaps Fifa want to burn up as much fossil fuel as they can while there's some left.

Spain has two colonies in Morocco still. They literally share a land border.
