...however he is 100% spot on regarding Sepp Blatter's comments. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15766375.stm I believe the last time I agreed with him was when he decided to kick the ball at his own fans!
the sad thing is blatter won't be going anywhere. he's answerable to no-one and has an iron grip over the whole world of football which for someone so out of touch with the game is staggering
ever been called a white ****, ever been told by a black player they are going to F*** ur mother, i have numerous times, its banter ffs. FFS these guys are earning more in a year than we do in a lifetime - HARDEN UP OR FK OFF and play netball
HI have noticed that alot of Liverpool fans on here, agree that blatter was wrong, however believe that if suarez said what he said, it was in good banter? strange lot There should be zero tolerance in football on remarks like that. Otherwise anyone could use any word they want and claim it was an effectionate term I have also noticed old scraghead dagleish has all of a sudden started calling suarez "wee man" to try and tone down what suarex said
not very difficult to agree with an opposite opinion to one of that footballocrat ****bag Septic Bladder. Fergie is pious compared to that dirtbag. Did bladder ever play the game? The Evra Suarez thing is nothing to do with Bladder and his corrupt bunch. Suarez wound larry fishburne up evra claims racism, even if he doesn't believe it himself he is winding Suarez up and causing him grief with all of this. Handbags, they should just get on with the football
ermm no, thats just silly but having read a post or two from you, no surprise. It's all handbags at 12 paces
To be fair most Liverpool fans are saying you shouldn't condemn Suarez until it's shown that he was being racist and not just engaging in poor taste banter. Which I think is honestly what Blatter is trying to get at in his usual ****ed-up-haven't-a-clue-about-anything way. If a player has just done a bit of banter and winding up the opponent, and maybe crossed the line without meaning to be racist or offensive, then I think the onus is on them to shake hands and explain after the game to avoid this kind of problem. Of course that can't be applied to all cases of racist abuse. But I still reckon the investigation into the Suarez case is going to conclude that Suarez said something that wasn't meant to be offensive and wasn't technically racist, but Evra misinterpreted it cos of the way he was saying it. If Suarez had explained to Evra that he wasn't being racist after the game then maybe none of the arguing and whining would have happened. Who knows, maybe he's just been watching Suarez more closely in the shower...
The word in question is an offensive and racist word in THIS country, where the offence has taken place, end of, I would be ashamed if I were a liverpool fan
That depends on what the actual word he used was. If it was a non offensive Spanish derivation, as Suarez and Liverpool are now claiming, then he should have noticed Evra was offended and made sure to explain he wasn't trying to be offensive or racist at the end of the game. Problem solved. Of course if he was using the English version there is no excuse.
I think he's been here long enough to realise that we do not refer to different ethnicities in such a manner. Be it the Spanish derivative or not. He cannot dig his way out of this one. Throw the book at him, followed by the bookcase. Racist prick
All this talk of them using it in a nice way in spain is absolute bollocks!!!!!!!!! Anyone who has lived in spain will tell you that the people using it over there do it with serious undercurrents, they laugh about it because they can get away with it!!! Ban the club from ever purchasing black players again, judging by the opinions on the liverpool board on here that would suit them down to the ground!! One of them just said on a thread to "calm down Negrito" Uterrly awful club, thick fans, racists
