why should they? Its not the first time VAR has messed up I can recall a few times Spurs have been shafted I didn’t expect an apology They are **** at their job…we’ve always known that
you would expect someone with his price tag to be able to do the basics of football tbf other than that he’s just a poor man’s Alvarez
Without Var the goal would still have been wrongly ruled out but Curtis Jones would have stayed on the pitch instead of rightly being sent off. So 1 mistake with VAR but would have been 2 mistakes without VAR
Back in the good old days people would have just had a moan about the dodgy ref…..all forgotten by the time you left the ground. these days they just talk **** for weeks about it Sad that it’s come to this just for the tv show
One of the worst I can remember us getting was away at Brighton - Vestergaard leaping to head away an incoming corner ... Maupay got no chance of winning it on the air so instead hauls on Vestergaard's arm, literally making him topple backwards... other arm comes up flailing as he attempts to get his balance... in coming ball hits that arm ... all the VAR team seemed to do was look at whether the ball had hit his arm; obviously it did, ergo penalty ... completely overlooking Maupay being directly responsible for the outstretched arm by fouling him ... As I maintain - it's not the technology... it's the twats administering and operating it ... a Rugby TMO would have 100% picked up the contributory action as the cause of the "offence" and 'reversed the decision' ...
mate i fully accept Var ****ing up what i wanted to know how as no lines and no answer why not? now we know and they will presumably now put in place protocols on passing on the decision to onfield ref in future . We deserve a medal or something for our selfless fight to improve football for all .
Was listening to some guy on the radio this morning who represents the refs ... he said his organisation was in favour of live transmission of conversations between the ref and VAR "like they do in Rugby" ... but FIFA are dead set against it ... probably so that nobody can hear them telling the ref "we require a Real Madrid v Liverpool final for the viewing figures and TV money - so give the ****ing scousers another penalty so that they can win this semi!!!"
Just seen Klopp talking about a replay, I don't agree. If there was no VAR which is what I'd prefer we'd have to accept mistakes happen. I'd be happier with my club if we called out the VAR system and pushed that it was not fit for purpose. Other than moaning about decisions.
See Klipperty is now demanding a replay because "... something like this has never happened... " ... maybe not to LiVARpool Jerky, but it has been happening to the rest of us for quite some time ... especially in games against the Sky 6 ... tit....
'something like this has never happened' It's happened loads, just Liverpool profited from it rather than lost He's really got into being a scouser the whiney crying donkey-toothed ****.
it's getting a bit silly now as that can of worms needs to be kept closed or 10% of games would have to be replayed.
I don't know if you are on a wind-up because I haven't checked any sports news, but if Klopp is serious about a replay then he's an utter dickhead. He really needs to get over it and stop crying, loads of teams have suffered at the consequences of var at some point, Klipperty should be grateful he actually got an apology and an explanation, something many teams never ever got, but just got on with life.
err actually there has been no apology - not that i care but just pointing out this narrative is incorrect .
