Lots of people moving players out of position - Square pegs, round holes etc, which has been a bug bare for a lot of people. I would trust the squad we have as much as we can. For example, if it is Hume, which seems to be the majority of people's thoughts, then why can't we just move Huggins to RB and bring in Taylor at LB, where he plays for the U21s, and must be trusted by the club to some extent based upon the fact he has been on the bench a number of times. Also, Huggins has played in midfield for the U21s so could fit into the Hume role with a bit of practice. If it was Pritchard surely it would just mean starting Aouchiche there?
From what I saw of Watford v Boro I don't think they are capable of sitting back and doing a Cardiff style performance. They don't have those type of players. Neither do Boro btw. That game was wide open for both sides.
I think the point is Mowbray has hinted at a change in formation on a few occasions recently. If a player misses out through injury then it gives us that chance to debate what might be possible. I think we all know having 4 forwards means at times we will want to play 2 up front, and that is most likely at home if teams sit back. That will likely mean wing backs in my opinion, but I would say that is asking very good players to be adaptable rather than square pegs in round holes. A lot of players these days can in a couple of positions very well.

When will this day ever end ! I just want to pack work in and concentrate on tonight and then some bugger wants me to do my job
Yeah, he has but I think that was more of a plan to suit the opposition we were playing. At the moment don't know who it is that will be missing, so it is just guesswork at the minute. However, we do have a lot of good players that can play different positions so whatever team is selected will be good enough for me to Cher them onto a victory tonight
Inconsiderate bastard!! Tell them you have more important stuff to worry about. Hang on. Back in a bit, got a meeting to go to…..
Black Cats Bar attendees have also been contacted directly to advise them of changes to their matchday experience, with an alternative offering in place due to hot food NOT being served in that space. My heart bleeds for them - I'd just drink more beer
If I could turn back time it would be even quicker. *That's all I've got, you'll be pleased to hear *
Following a major power failure at the Stadium of Light on Monday afternoon, Club staff and partners have worked around the clock to ensure tonight’s fixture will proceed as planned. Supporters are advised that this may have an impact on matchday experience tonight and we thank you for your patience and understanding in advance. Disruption to concourse kiosks may impact the availability of some refreshments and could result in longer queues in certain areas of the stadium. Black Cats Bar attendees have also been contacted directly to advise them of changes to their matchday experience, with an alternative offering in place due to hot food NOT being served in that space. We once again thank our dedicated Club staff and partners for their hard work over the past 48 hours and we continue to appreciate the understanding shown by our supporters.
Pritchard is definitely a huge miss as he is one of our best players, but if its him, I'd argue he actually has the easiest and most obvious replacement. So whilst Pritch is great, Aouchiche coming in for him probably is the least disruptive possible change to our entire team. IMO
Regarding this power failure at the SOL. Let’s hope there’s not a floodlight failure if we’re 5-0 up after about 70 minutes meaning the game has to be replayed. *If we’re 0-5 down after about 70 minutes let’s hope there’s a floodlight failure and the game has to be replayed.
Yeah I could live with that, been wanting Adil to get a start somewhere I think he'll do really well. I'll learn how to spell his name at some point but today is not that day.
