    Probably is yes, but the players are responsible here for me. They just look half hearted. Would they go for Van Nistelrooy or were they burned with Solskjaer? Zidane out of their price range? Conte, Potter?

    If whispers are right, he's fallen out with half of the squad. He refuses to play Maguire, yet the replacements for Maguire are actually playing worse than him. He won't play McTominay, despite the midfield being soft and needing some solidity. He's fallen out with Sancho, he's replaced De Gea with a much worse keeper, who neither looks commanding or reliable, enough that there's already rumours that they want to replace him as soon as they can. He's not reigned in Fernandez's petulance or Casemiro's rashness. There's no leadership on the pitch, the defence is rudderless and easy to breach and he doesn't seem to be able to get enough out or Rashford or Martial with any consistency. Maybe he's playing the "tough manager" and it might have worked last year with a disruptive influence like Ronaldo to galvanise the team, but now it looks like he's doing it to prove a point (if it's true).

    Football needs some sort of regulatory body to stop people like the Glazers buying the club with borrowed money then putting the debts against the business.
    Glazers can do what they like then walk away scott free
