I'm sure they will at some point but really who gives a ****?

Wrong decisions will always go against you regardless of whether have VAR or not but the games flow so much better without it.

A clear penalty wasn't given for us at Sunderland (when it was 2-0). That kind of gets forgotten after all the chaos of that afternoon.

I don't personally see what all the fuss is about for Stoke's penalty shout. If you just watch the slow motion from a certain angle then yeah it looks bad. But in real time, watching the trajectory of both Beddie's and Lowe's runs, Jan runs in a straight line and Lowe arcs into his path. Plus he was never going to reach the ball anyway. Looked ugly, but there was little Bednarek could have done to prevent that.

I wish they would make penalties less important. The whole game revolves around penalties. More offences should just be a free kick in the box.

Quite. Stoke's tactics were basically hassle and harry, pass it down the wing, and cross it first time. They were very good at the first two, but their crossing never seemed to hit a target. It was a good lesson in defending for our boys, that's for sure. Just a shame our attacking wasn't nearly as productive as it was against Leeds.

We created more yesterday than we did against Leeds imo, we just didn’t finish as well

Quality of the chances was lower imo, Mara’s ‘attempt’ was the only decent chance we created from open play that I remember.

Although Sulemana’s ball across the box would have been deadly if we had an out and out striker in our formation.

Think S Armstrong free header at the beginning of the second half was easier than either of A Armstrongs goals against Leeds. Plus Sulemana had an easy one on one which the keeper saved with his legs, which led to their centre back going off injured.

Did we win the fracas at the end or was it a split decision?

I would consider Armstrong's header and Sulemana's shot when in behind as clear cut chances. Plus Charly had a good chance from a corner.

A few (me included) was moaning about Manning. However, I think that he gets no protection from Sulemana at all so he is out of position. That said, the threat that Sulemana poses seems to outweigh the weakness we have down that side.

Yeah too often Sulemana will just stand rooted to the spot when an attack doesn't pan out. Should be easy enough to coach out of him, so depends on his attitude. Edozie has gotten much better at tracking back.

Feel a bit sorry for Edozie, was really beginning to hit his stride when he was dropped.

Hard to make a case for changing the side for Rotherham though when we have two wins on the bounce and our first clean sheet, unless anyone needs a rest.

We do love a scapegoat. Baz is not getting the flak now, because Manning is this months go to for constant criticism. Fans, eh!
