He’s just come back from a concussion, it’s a serious prolonged condition that you don’t just heal from, any impact to the head shortly after a concussion has to be taken seriously, it can cause serious damage.

A blow to the nose on his first game back should be treated seriously, if that was another player than they wouldn’t have been concerned with concussion but they were absolutely right to treat Coyle like that.
His first game back was Plymouth

Poor performance overall and let’s be honest we’ve had some great results away. Tonight though we haven’t handled them well enough. It’s been far to easy when attacking us and we haven’t done enough at the other end. Been realistic I think we are a team somewhere between the middle to brink of top six. On tonight’s performance though we are bottom half. I think a lot will depend on our home results because we are definitely not going to go away and win every week. Long way to go let’s hope tonight is a big learning curve and we bounce back on Saturday because some serious re thinking is needed.

I've seen a lot of ppl say they hope Liam learns from this experience. That in a nutshell is Liam's biggest problem. A very new and inexperienced manager who refuses to change his ways. There's no improving someone who already thinks he knows it all. He's said it time and time again, he won't change.
You've had to wait a while to bang that one out.
