This is where poor home form comes to bite you, you can take losses away from home if you have the points to back it up. dropped points against Leeds, Plymouth, Coventry and Bristol make a loss like this sting more. Plenty more games to go though
I've seen a lot of ppl say they hope Liam learns from this experience. That in a nutshell is Liam's biggest problem. A very new and inexperienced manager who refuses to change his ways. There's no improving someone who already thinks he knows it all. He's said it time and time again, he won't change.
Poor performance overall and let’s be honest we’ve had some great results away. Tonight though we haven’t handled them well enough. It’s been far to easy when attacking us and we haven’t done enough at the other end. Been realistic I think we are a team somewhere between the middle to brink of top six. On tonight’s performance though we are bottom half. I think a lot will depend on our home results because we are definitely not going to go away and win every week. Long way to go let’s hope tonight is a big learning curve and we bounce back on Saturday because some serious re thinking is needed.
Apologies, my mistake, I forgot he came on. My point still stands though it’s only three days later, he’s still high risk.
First start. To be fair that shouldn't have a bearing as the precautions were taken and he sat out Stoke.
